Independence is a good end to the Signficance series by Shelly Crane. Everyone get their happily ever afters. All the secrets are revealed. While the author tied up all the loose ends in this book I felt that the ending seemed a bit rushed and it lacked the anticipation and action of the previous books. I would have liked more of a battle at the end and it felt like it was too neat, like a fairy tale ending. Well, I waited all year (practically) for this "final" installment to get here, and I can't say it was a disappointment, because face it, Shelly Crane doesn't disappoint. I will say this, though I love this series, I still think I have unanswered questions about some of the supporting characters, but maybe it's nice to know not everything can be wrapped up so nice and neat with a tidy bow.

I'm upset , i supported this series from i read the first book and honestly this was so disappointing .Everything was just MEH , the problems were very stupid and the initial break up of the friendship between Beck and the heroine was even more MEH .All the hype and NOTHING HAPPENED !!! SERIOUSLY ???

I cant even begin to express my dismay , all the visions and prophecy made no sense and then to hear in the end that the council still won , and furthermore the vision the heroine had was pointless ...more

I've got a bittersweet feeling in me. I loved the way this series ended but I'm sad that its done. This was such a different world and it was fun exploring the world of Aces and their significants. What a great ending to a great series! Now I'm eagerly waiting on that movie :) ...more

This was one of the first book series I started when I got my Kindle Fire! It is still the series I have re-read the most and one of my favorites! It is absolutely bitter sweet to see the end of this series! Just.... WOW! Excellent ending!
