This was not a 5 star book in my book by any means, it fell sorta flat for me even though I did enjoy it, I am not sure what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It's such a easy read and once I started I couldn't put it down. The characters are very well developed and the story was not rushed at all. I completed the book in 24 hours and it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Great story. Definitely will be reading the next book when released. ...more

*Gasps* I fucking love the ending! I enjoyed every bit of the story and the writing style. The story was told in alternating POVs with flashbacks here and there....and that cover, gosh! I started reading this because of that GORGEOUS cover complete with the guitar! Heck, I'm in LOVE with this Amazing book!...it was really a breath of fresh air for me in the NA genre. OMG! This book made me cry in the very beginning. What? That never happens, I mean, I cry at books but usually in the end. This story is so touching and the characters are so realatable. A slight touch of someone trying to keep this couple apart made for a bit of an interesting twist, but it was very short-lived and did not really call for too much angst in the book....I kinda wish the couple had to work a tad bit harder to get thru that little bump...but that is just me. Reading this made me stop and think that sometimes you do have to give people a second chance. Not to say that forgiveness is easy and sometimes the trust and love that is broken can't be repaired. You still owe it to be able to say at least you were willing to try.
