What on earth did I just read

This book was recommened by a lot of my friends on here. I did it as a buddy read with several people. It was a GREAT book! It was well written and captivating. The start of it had a lot of fashion and talking about pink. It kind of lost me. [image error] photo 22_zps5eec1d67.png

But I hear that dies down and actually has somewhat of a reason behind it. But that was my only complaint.

The Skinny:

The first book of the series has a very strong and painstakingly detailed beggining in all thing Fae. This did not bother me much (just had to motivate myself to memorize as much as possible and wait for the pop quiz on Fae). It's tedious but stick through it because the characters are multi layer and so mysterious that Book 1 doesn't even touch the surface.
