What Members Thought

Anthony Rawlings is the biggest prick that I have ever had the NON-pleasure of coming in contact with. Had my Mother not taught me better, I would be plotting how to rip off his genitals. :)
My review will be featuring (Note: I say FEATURING not ANSWERING.) the four main questions that have been plaguing everyone's mind since/before reading this book. - Let us dive right in.

"Good evening, Claire." Had a very Silence of Lamb feel to it.
Claire was expected to be a perfect companion: beautiful, polite, contented, and appreciative.
To play the part she wore a mask.

Tony owned her. She belonged to him. "He was a pompous, condescending, controlling ass."
REMEMBER: "If you ever tried to leave him there would be unpleasant consequences."
The last 11% of the book we see those consequences.
SERIES:
Cliffhangers. Continuing story.

Where do I start? Instead of giving you the background of the novel I am going to give you my reaction only.
I stumbled upon a group on Goodreads labeled Consequences Support Group and it immediately sparked my interest. I purchased the book with barely skimming the description. I figured if it already has a support group it must be worth reading. I went into this book blind and I’m glad I did because I might have been a little scared.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! WTF did I just read? This book totally FUCKED with my mind.
I can't believe all the crap that happened ... I kept hoping that I frekin' imagined it all.
Fuckin' TONY RAWLINGS ... that crazy ass bastard, he's fuckin' CRAZY like INSANE CRAZY . He needs to be admitted to the psychiatric ward asap. He methodically planned everything down to the T! I mean, really? he did all that for revenge??? I couldn't believe that at one point I thought he was a tortured soul that could be hea ...more

5 Mindflucking Stars
Life is not what it’s supposed to be. It’s what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference. -Virginia Satir
I do not even know where to begin! This was the biggest mindfuck I have ever read. I was confused with my feelings the whole way through. I was rooting for a psychopath at a few points. What started as a freaky romance, ended in a huge twisted mystery. Every possible emotion, good and bad, was touched while reading this novel.

First of all, I do not review every book I've read, only the ones that stay with me long after I finish the last page. This is truly one of those books. I finished it almost a week ago and have not been able to stop thinking about it. Thankfully I had the second book in series to keep my longing for more satisfied!
I was not sure exactly what to expect when I started reading the book. The description seemed pretty ambiguous and I chose to try it without reading many review. I am glad that's how ...more

This is one of those stories that is so fucked up and I hated it so much but I just kept reading it BECAUSE IT WAS SO FUCKED UP I HAD TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF FUCKERY WOULD COME NEXT!

This book is such a mind fuck I'm pretty sure my mother was two minutes away from submitting me into a mental institution. I literally tried explaining the story to her and ended up in a laughing fit and then started crying while I was explaining this book.

When I first finished this book, I had a wide range of emotions… terror, sadness, happiness, lust and then sadness again. My emotions were literally all over the place. How I felt about Anthony depended on what page I was reading. How could I hate this man, be attracted to him and love him all in the same book? I was on an emotional roller coaster, but one that wanted to go back on once the ride was over!!!
Certain scenes were raw, gritty, dark and disturbing. It was an emotional read that stuck ...more
