Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.

I am really not picky. The only thing I ask of books is that they make me feel. And not just any emotion. So for example, feeling annoyance over the writing does not count. I want to feel what the characters feel. I want to feel like I'm living and experiencing it. I want to feel a connection with the characters. Wow. Just wow. I don't normally write reviews but this book completely screwed with my head. When other reviewers called this book a mindfuck they were not kidding. Firstly, I despise Tony, no, I hate him. He is one sick twisted, sadistic bastard, and a sorry excuse for a man.. I admit he had some good times but for me the bad outweighed them tremendously. Awh Claire, sweet, stupid Claire. I felt sorry for her, part of the time. In the beginning she fought and I don't blame her. But part of me k Wow. Just wow. But part of me knew right from the start the best thing to do was to go along with him and his demands and things would be simpler. Her defiance is what seemed to feed him,he wanted her to fight I think because he almost seemed to enjoy being malicious. I do have to say I understand why she didn't leave when she could but to not even try?! Granted she had no idea that it wouldn't matter, he would always find her. She of course didn't know the extent of his plans, didn't know all of his surveillance. After the accident i think I would of told someone though. Would it of mattered?
