I really don't know what I just read. I have never felt so many emotions from reading one book, but the strongest was definitely hate... Holy Crap did I freaking HATE!! I mean, I REALLY wanted to do bodily harm to Tony... slowly... UGH, I feel crazy!

Where to start, where to start...

This book tested my patience in many ways. I couldn't relate to Tony's thinking and ways of acting but neither could I relate to Claire's thinking and behaviour. Since this isn't a short read, it made it tedious at times.

I was annoyed with this book more times than I cared to count. When I started to put the pieces together, I knew the why but for a long time that still didn't prepare for what was to happen.

Wow. What can I say but wow. Tony was more of a piece of work than I thought. I figured out his intentions early but thought he had a change of heart, thought maybe he was conflicted. But no, he is just a smart devious human being. I don't hate him though, I find him intriguing and looking forward to Truth and see what he has in store for Sophia. And Claire, what can I say. 11-9-2013Update-- I just finished the series and had to demote this one to 4 stars because for one I was reminded how overly descriptive the author was a little too much. And also after reading Truth and Convicted, this one just wasnt up to par with 2 and 3.

All I can say is HOLY SHIT!!! and WTF!!!

This book is so disturbing, a psychological thriller. I just can’t stop reading it… I re-read it even… Does that make me twisted?! I’m not sure... but, what the hell?! It was mind boggling, kept me at the edge of my seat. If I’m a nail-biter I would have done it! This book made me sad, angry, happy and troubled – mixed of emotions to the max! This is like me while reading it...

Holy motha of all twisted books!!! Anthony Rawlings should look up Amy and hook up! Twisted sick bastards!!!
Shout out to the author! Holy crap! To be able to carefully and masterfully weave this story, while making me feel everything is a clear representation of her undeniable talent.
Did I love this story? Not the story in itself. It's a lot to take. Claire's losing herself was painful. However, the twist and how the story is intertwined is just brilliant. You have to respect and admire the auth ...more

I am SO conflicted with this book. I had a REALLY hard time getting invested into the characters. I had zero interest in the main guy, Anthony. Even when he was being nice, he was still a dick. The main girl, Claire, drove me nucking futs. It truly wasn't until 90+% of the way through the book that I was like "WOOOOO, Now it's getting good!"
