Coming Home was simply captivating and brilliant. It was such a touching story.

Leah and Danny meet by chance when Leah comes back to visit her childhood home. When their world collide together, they need to decide whether they can move forward together, will they be strong 'nuff or will they just give up?

Danny with his mess of inky black hair took Leah's mind away.

Sweet, heartfelt, romantic and hopeful are just few words the describe Coming Home. I started this book thinking it was just another romance novel, but what I ended up getting was much more than that. The relationship between Danny and Leah is the most honest and loyal one I've read in a long time. I can't thank the author enough for writing a book about a couple who I'm sure are very common in real life regarding their struggles and hurdles, but as far as fiction goes Reviewed @ Enticed by Books

I started this book thinking it was just another romance novel, but what I ended up getting was much more than that. The relationship between Danny and Leah is the most honest and loyal one I've read in a long time. I can't thank the author enough for writing a book about a couple who I'm sure are very common in real life regarding their struggles and hurdles, but as far as fiction goes, it's the first time I've heard and read about their situation and I'm absolutely in love with the way it's executed throughout the story. The drama was there but in a very subtle way that didn't cause any over-emotions from my side and I love that! Coming Home was a very beautiful story about a couple making their way to the other side of the tunnel while believing in their love and supporting each other at every stage.

After the death of her mother, Leah never forgets to drive by her old family house every Christmas just to get a little glimpse of her childhood. On one of her visits she meets Catherine, the new owner of the property who ends up welcoming Leah inside the house for a tour. There she meets Daniel, the lady's grandson and from the first meet, she feels comfortable with him, but since she's is not looking for any relationship, Leah let the connection slide. Coincidentally, fate intervenes by making Leah and Danny's paths cross on more than one occasion. After a few of those adorable meetings, they both become great friends and soon they start flirting with each other and gradually fall in love. What I loved the most about this book was the slow moving, effortless yet completely swoony romance. Leah is a very nice girl and Danny is an equally nice, polite guy, they both were the perfect match and in a way there relationship reminded me of Eleanor and Park. If you've been following my blog, you know that I'm the biggest fan of that couple and Danny and Leah gave me the same exact feels. I loved them so much! I don't think there's anything else I need to say, yes there was a huge secret which caused some tension, yes both the character did drift apart for some time, but non of them acted immaturely under any circumstances and I appreciated that. Leah was not only a straight forward, fair girl, she knew when to step back and give some space, but at the same time, she knew when to take control and that's the quality in her I love the best.

All in all, like Priscilla Glenn's debut novel (Back to You), Coming Home won my heart! It made me realize that sometimes it's important to look at the bigger picture and not focus on the little hurdles, sometimes it's worth to take a chance if the end result is better, brighter and more happier. Leah and Danny definitely left a mark on me and I highly encourage fans of contemporary and romance in generally to experience their journey and feel the feels I felt. I hope that made sense :)

What I love most about Priscilla Glenn's books is first and foremost, the writing. Just like with her characters in Back to You, I FELT the connection between Danny and Leah bc of the beautiful writing. I love that in her books there is no added drama. Like most romance novels, yes there is an obstacle to overcome, but it is all part of the story. Sometimes I get annoyed with contemporary romance books that have all this added unnecessary drama. Oh WOW I want to give this more than 5 stars it's just beautiful. To describe this book I have to say Beautiful, sad? Loving, romantic, sweet, Heartbreaking,Passionate and very Powerful, I laughed cried and was speechless. Leah does not want to let people in with what happened to her in the past but a lovely old lady invited her in for tea.

Danny has a secret so he doesn't get close to people but when he met Leah he wanted to know her more.
