Solid 3 stars. Urban fantasies and paranormal romances sharing the same roots and borrowing the same legends usually differentiate themselves in subtle measures: prose, wit, world-building or characters.

This book should come with a warning label: do not read while driving, operating heavy machinery, or on a ten minute break at work! Seriously. When our heroine and her gorgeous vampire beau finally have their big consummation, I was between classes and practically needed a defibrillator before I could face my second-period students.

I finished this book a little after 1 a.m. this morning and I absolutely LOVED IT!
Bones.
Bones.

I have to admit that when I first read the description of my new fav hero - I was a bit turned off as I've never been a fan of blonde heroes (or heroines for that matter). But after the first interaction between he and Cat - I was HOOKED! He was sooo...just wow! Like total alpha male! I loved his snarkiness and wit but when he declared his feelings for Cat...he just stole my heart. *le sigh And t ...more

Yea....oh Yea! You see that right There? That's a bad ass Chick! I have been waiting for a bad ass chick FOREVER!
I must admit that the beginning of this book didn't completely grasp me but Bones totally made up for It! I can't stop using exclamation marks while I have my Bones afterglow. I love him. Cat is about to be shit outta Luck!
