More like 4.5 stars... I would absolutely recommend this series.

I couldn't help but finish this series quickly (in a good way) and have now just found enough time between studying to give this book justice. This book was really amazing and way better than the other two right up until the very end, where it left the reader with more questions than answers. Some previous questions hadn't even been answered; it was like the final message was love conquers all no matter how many questions you have, More like 4.5 stars... There were so many traitors in this one I really lost track. First it was one person and then another and then Andrew and so it goes, but I definitely added to the mystery and whatnot about the house they were staying at. I was glad they all weren't on the run anymore; it was just less stressful.

Chloe and Derek were so cute in this one. It seemed as if she had tamed the beast as much as she could and it was interesting how she was there when he finally Changed completely, making whatever reason she was mad at him for disappear. And I loved how they could still communicate with each other even when he was in wolf form. For some reason I thought the "date" with Simon part was totally random, but I suppose she had to try and deny her feelings for Derek. That didn't work so well, and I really did feel bad for Simon but in my heart I knew that no matter how bad I felt, Chloe and Derek were meant to be together.

We never really got to see the full extent of anyone's powers and that made me a little sad because I really wanted to know what everyone could do, especially Tori and Chloe. I'm glad Liz came back though, but it made me want her to be alive again and that sucked. She was much better than Tori and it would have been interesting to see what the series would have been like if Tori had died.

This one had its creepy parts, but not as much as the previous 2, which seemed strange, but this is one of the best trilogy's that I've read since the City of Bones trilogy. Though I wish that this series could continue, I hear that Armstrong is continuing the same basic ideas in a new series, which I kind of hope will shed some light on things left unexplained in this one. ...more

Oh, such a great ending to Chloe's trilogy, and yeah, so freaking good, and I loved the ending, with her and Derek! So good!
