I'm a huge fan of this series and I feel like it just gets better and better. I was in a bit of a reading slump when I started this book and I have no idea why and it took me a while to read, a lot longer than I had expected but that had nothing to do with the book itself because it was amazing and I am crazy excited for book 3.

Things actually start happening in this book!
Cinder and the others actually start working on a plan to overthrow Queen Levana. Or a couple of plans, really. Their first idea isn't all that great, but eventually things get planned and acted on. Things don't exactly work out though, so most of the book is spent gathering everybody back in one place. The final few chapters, everything just goes insane with plot progression, though.

Marissa Meyer has a clever way of bringing life to childhood fairytale characters.
I LOVED this book! If you haven't read this series, you should!
