Shelves: medieval, around-the-world-in-80-books, maritime, fantasy, middle-east, mythology

So apparently these days I'm into fantasy pirates (Dark Water Daughter, On These Black Sands), middle-aged women behaving outrageously (The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies), and adventurous journeys on wooden ships in the Indian Ocean (The Sindbad Voyage). So of course, I had to read a book about a middle-aged female pirate set in a fantasy version of the medieval Arab world!
