I thoroughly enjoyed this retelling of the Snow Queen. And the "romance" was *gasp* clean, with no racy scenes, just a couple falling in love. ...more

Also a favorite! Super action packed. Was sooo excited to see little Celine’s story come to be, and Melanie did NOT disappoint!! Definitely exceeded any expectations I could have had. Multiple rereads in, and I still get a lil nervous at the climax because there is simply SO MUCH going on. It’s also sweet to see Oliver’s sisters (the Eldonian princesses), particularly Giselle, in a new light. :)
