I am not really a fantasy genre person but I enjoyed this story. I think there was probably a lot of things that I didn't catch because I don't really know enough of the Jesuits and the symbology that was embeded in the story.

I read this book many years ago. It's due for a re-read! We watch the extended version of the The Lord of the Rings at the end of every year. So I guess you could say I'm a fan.

What a ride!
PLOT: I started it very excited... I went giddy when I got hold of a copy of it. Then when I read it thorough it was moving like a snail, and it is not that very gripping. I think when Frodo and his friends set their foot in Rivendell the story picked up some speed. When they are on their journey towards the south it is getting more gripping.. ...more
