Good Points:
I loved this book and I can't believe its taken me this long to pick this book up! Cinder is one of those characters that you just cant wait to read on about and discover more of her story, also she isn't one of those constantly crying girls (if you can really even call her that ... Cyborg-girl?) because quite literally she can't cry as she has no tear ducts.

I LOVED 'Cinder' by Marissa Meyer. I would recommend to someone who likes fairy tales and fantasy with a small dash of science fiction.

I fell in love with the story and the characters from the very beginning. I think it was a really refreshing take that Cinder is part cyborg and the way she was written, I can truly feel for Cinder and sympathize with her situation as well as wanting to comfort her.

Long story short, I like it enough to continue the series (which does end on a cliffhanger -- cue eyeroll).

I wasn't very invested in the Lunar world building aspect of it and found the story about Cinder and her family and Kai more interesting than the rest of it, but the plot comes from the Lunar side of things so I think that detracted my enjoyment of it. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! It was the intriguing book cover with the title that caught my attention. I initially believed that the plot was going to be a twist of a version of Cinderella. While it was, it was also much more. The correlation between the skeleton of the fable, a futuristic theme entwined with the allure of the past make for one great story.
