"A Scandal in Scarlet" by Vicki Delany is the fabulous third installment in a thoroughly enjoyable cozy mystery series. It has all the elements of a good cozy: a likeable protagonist, a fun and quirky best friend, pets, a handsome member of law enforcement, annoying and quirky secondary characters, and, of course, a murder to solve. Another quick read in this series. Still an average series with likable but not memorable characters. I feel like the author likes to make the readers think the murders are solved, but leaves so much left to be read that we know it really isn't. I can't say I actually guessed who the killer was, but I didn't much care either. Here's hoping the next is better?
