This is the first book I've read by this author and I was hooked! The writing flows together so nicely that you sit down to read and next thing you know you're halfway in!
I did feel that some of the drama between the characters was high school-ish but it was still enjoyable. I had no guesses about the "connection" that Auburn and Owen had all those years ago. I'm glad he didn't bring it up either.
The idea of painting confessions is interesting. Would be confusing to me, but nice how it works out ...more
