I thought this book was beautifully written. My only problem is that I read to escape what is happening around me and this was just too close for comfort. It's sad when you think about what all those innocent people went through during WWII.

Mystery, and History are the only words to explain this amazing book!! It reminded me a lot of Melanie Dobson book Hidden in the stars BUT I think this book explained that era better than Melanie did.
