What Members Thought
After seeing this movie, I decided to pick up the book. The movie did follow with the book pretty well but there was (of course) more details and happenings. I think it was interesting having the child tell the story instead of the victim herself. Not realizing what kind of situation he was born into, he was so naïve about everything. The first time he sees and feels new things kind of touches your heart. Even though I knew what was coming up (because of the movie), I still found myself cheering
