This book made me ugly cry. This isn't a book about good guys or bad guys. It's a complex tale of love and rock and roll and the vulnerability that is being human. It brought back memories of when I was a teenager reading Pamela Des Barres' I'm with the band and was just such a pure heart punch of a story you couldn't help but try to feel for everyone. I hesitated on this book for so long. I was so excited for its release and when I saw the format, I was beyond disappointed. I knew I wouldn’t be able to follow it. I hadn’t yet discovered my love for audiobooks so I just assumed it was a book I’d never really get to love. Read for a reading challenge prompt “book being turned into a movie or series in 2023”. I enjoyed this book. 7 husbands is still my favorite Reid book but she’s a great storyteller. Excited to watch the show.
