I read this book because it was unique, and it had the most important things in there I could never miss. My favorite character was August who goes by Auggie most of the time. The memo in this book was "Just because your different doesn't mean your weird."
Auggie was born with a clef pallet, which means your mouth is....well I wouldn't say deformed, but it was just messed up from something. He never said what he looked liked but I WONDER what he did look like.
