Its an amazing story about a boy name grubb's and a curse that runs in his family.
i loved this book, at the start he captures the image of a teenage boy perfectly,and the whole story is great with alot of twists and suspense.when you finish the book you find out he gave out some clues at the beginning that you didn't realize. it amazing and every one should read it. ...more

Best book series ever. Period. Rick riordan used to be my favorite author until I was blessed to come across Darren Shan. Every single book he has written is basically gold in readers' minds everywhere. You need to read Darren shan's masterpieces

First book in a brilliant series. I really enjoyed this book but it is a very gory and is a horror book so some people might not like it.
