What Members Thought
My first time reading Julia Alvarez. The tone could be a bit melodramatic at times but I loved her storytelling in this book. I think this is a great piece of historical fiction and I appreciated learning about the Mirabal sisters and life in the Dominican Republic during the Trujillo regime.
