You should have read some primer books before reading this one. Although, this book was the best-selling science book on Amazon in 2005. The topics are quite complex. What is reality? A review of developments in theoretical physics over the past century - without a single mathematical formula. Brian Greene is an engaging guide who introduces the most complex theories to the non-technical reader in a logical and entertaining way. Obviously this is difficult to do given that all these theories are grounded in high level mathematics but he does a good job. I wish high school physics had been this interesting!
Interesting, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around those dancing strings. :(
