I felt so bad for Brenda. I knew nothing good could have come out of the battle with the Collis in the previous book. She lost the man she was to be bound with and is sent to Argis Rever's home until his brother can arrive to claim her. The problem is the minute she lays eyes on Rever she's lost forever.
