The story is a Rincewind tale, although with some other entertaining characters, such as Carrot, the Librarian, Leonard, and Cohen. It shares the weaknesses of all of those stories, namely a lack of examination of human nature, and simpler humour.
What is does have is the Discworld take on the moon landing, Terry’s always lovely (and, yes, humorous) prose and some absolutely beautiful pictures that lift this book up to 4 Stars (1 for the images alone). Delightful.
