This can be a bit of a hard slog for modern readers but at the core it is a really good story, and historically it is so influential.

One of the finest action & intrigue-packed historical romances that has ever been written in literature.

I love the way Dumas writes. Makes for a very fun read. The story itself was interesting but somehow I felt it a bit shallow. :/ But always fun!
