So this is a prime example of why I hate not having partial stars. I rounded up book one because the last 20% was excellent and enough to convince me it was worth doing book two. My faith was more than rewarded. Excellent 4.5* effort but I can't round up to a 5. If you're on the fence after book 1 take the plunge it's worth it.
The pace is so much better in this book and even the characters we know develop even more. Then there's the new characters like Nera who had me laughing nearly every time ...more
