This was a reread for me, but it felt new since I only remembered a small piece of the beginning and a smaller piece of the ending. Lots to think about in this book, and I wonder how much I missed since there was lots of poetic symbolism going on, it seemed like. I like the overarching message of not being so busy that you forget to really think about things. And I like the message that reading a good book helps you do that.

This book, I must say, is quite complicated. However, despite being abundant amounts of symbolism, literary elements, and complex plots, it was interesting (which was surprising due to the fact that I'm usually extremely bored when it comes to long difficult books with small fonts). The book takes place in the future, where the purpose of firemen is, not to put out fires, but instead to start them and burn the books that are now banned.
