I picked this up from my shelf with the intention thar I would would probably abandon it after 50 pages.
BUT I got sucked in.
Although this book was written in the 1950s it still hits a really hard punch.
David is a really relatable main character and a great view into a post apocalyptic world.
A world where 'normal' is strictly controlled and anything outside of this is destroyed - including people.
Still incredibly relevant today, who defines what is normal? how are those outside of this treated? ...more
