What Members Thought
This book was somewhere between a 2 and 3 for me, I can't totally decide yet whether I liked it or was indifferent to it. I like it enough to finish it, but I have to really hate a book to not finish it. The concept was great, the stories were pretty good, but overall the book left a bit to be desired. I would have liked it more if Michener had let the story speak for itself a bit more instead of going into so many long rambling monologues about how everything was perfect before x happened, or h

This epic is one I have re-read with pleasure. I like the way Michener begins with the pre-history of Colorado and moves through to more recent time. Just a great story.
