This has definitely been the hardest book I've read to date. Faulkner's use of shattered minds of simple people (Benjy, and Quentin) to tell us part of the story of the Compsons struggle through life was very confusing and hard to understand "time". Faulkner passes through time forward and backward with the use of a crazy persons explanation of their own miss-understanding or explanation of actual events that have taken place in their time at present or past.
