What Members Thought

Faticoso. Belle alcune parti, soprattutto alla luce del periodo in cui è stato scritto. Per le prime 70 pagine non si capisce niente, poi pian piano si entra nella storia e si capiscono i meccanismi. Storicamente interessante, per un’epoca americana di cui avevo letto solo storie in contesti sociali differenti.

Had a really hard time with this classic. The first half of book was so dam hard to understand but the second half was much better. I had really loved Faulkners book As I Lay Dying but this one didn't do much for me even though it was suppose to be his best book.
