I have wanted to read some classics by Elizabeth Gaskell for the longest time and I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to pick North and South up as part of a readalong with some fantastic bookstagrammers. In fact, I ended up enjoying it so much that I’ve already bought or been gifted three more of her books and I can’t wait to explore her work further. ⁣
