This year, it’s been a pleasure to take part in #thebigbrontereadalong hosted by the lovely Cindy @bookswerestuff It’s the second time that I’ve read Wuthering Heights and like many classics that I re-read, I got even more out of this novel than I did on the first read, especially as it invoked very interesting discussions amongst the group!

Berawal dari kedatangan Heathcliff, bocah yatim piatu yang diangkat asuh oleh Mr. Earnshaw. Heathcliff dibesarkan diantara anak-anak Earnshaw lain, Catherine dan Hindley. Karena perbedaan kulit, latar belakang, dan statusnya, Heathcliff dibully habis-habisan oleh Hindley. Kisah cintanya juga tidak beruntung, Catherine malah memilih untuk menikah dengan anak keluarga Linton yang terpandang. Rupanya semua ini menyebabkan Heathcliff menyimpan dendam dan berubah menjadi kejam .
