This will be my second time around for this. I remember detesting it when I was younger. However, I watched a bbc film adaptation on Netflx that was actually very good. They seemed to take quite a few liberties with the original story but it was still quite good. It made me wonder if my opinion of the book would change if I read it again now that I am older and have a totally different frame of mind. I found that age and time hasn't changed my opinion at all. I still do not like this book.

I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would from what everyone else said about it. I feel like I want to read a spin off where they delve into Heathcliff's character a lot more.
