What Members Thought
The language was a challenge but worth it in the end. This was one of the few times where I thought the translation to the big screen was better than the book.
I loved this story - Bridget Jones is one of my favorite movies, and I had heard that it mirrored Pride and Prejudice, and it definitely does. The intricate social rules of the time are fascinating. I'm looking for the movie with Colin Firth, I've heard it is excellent and the whole time I was reading it I pictured him as Darcy!
