A great book that's at once sobering and hilarious, To Kill a Mockingbird is a quick read less because of its length than because the story is so fascinating, the characters so lovable, that one can't help but read on. Finally finished it!!!

Started on the bus ride from home at 7 in the morning. Finished it at 7 in the evening on the eve of my Comm. Skills paper...

Didn't understand what all the hype was about, though will say it's a sweet and memorable kind of a story. I found some characters really intriguing: Atticus, Boo Radley, Tom Robinson.

And I enjoyed Lee's style of narration. Reminded me of the proper novels we used to read back in the younger days. Scout was a very awesome child. Loved reading it throu

Wow, i loved this book from page 1! The story about young children in the 30's in an american town will definitely stay with me for a long time to come! Seen through the eyes of children, the story revolves around their family, their friends and the town they live in, a tale of injustice, and then karma, which i had to smile about.
