What Members Thought
This was a chunkster book – over 60 hours on the Audible version. The narration by Juliet Stevenson was wonderful; I think she’s one of my most favorite narrators! I don’t know if I could have “read” the book due to the vocabulary and dialogue, but by listening to the Audible version I had no problems. I enjoyed the story, very much a “Pride and Prejudice” type of book. George Eliot’s writing is magnificent and linguistically superior to that which is written today, in my humble opinion. My favo
