Paul Wilson
Fairly middling "classic" whose execution doesn't quite match its potential. It suffers somewhat from a late 19th century stilted prose style that doesn't lend itself well to genre fiction. Still, it's a book ahead of its time, and worth a read for its influence on sci-fi and horror. ...more
