Never having read this book before I had high expectations for it due to the film, Audrey Hepburn etc. I did find Holly Golightly a fascinating character but have to say I enjoyed the other stories in the collection a lot more. I feel the writing is a kind which will stay with you long after the book is finished.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Beautiful and very romantic. I like Holly Golightly character, so innocent yet so damaged. I have not watch the movie but I definitely will now.

The House of Flower

I like Ottilie and her love for Royal is something to be admired about.

A Diamond Guitar

A story of a seemingly lazy yet cunning young man, I am not impressed.

A Christmas Memory

Boring.
