This is a very interesting story about how corrupt a man can become while the consequences are not apparent to those around him. Dorian is forced to confront the deterioration of his soul through the painting of himself but it is too little, too late. There were entire chapters I could have done without as they didn't seem to move the story along. Not my favorite book of all times but I did find it interesting enough to keep reading. I didn't really care for the anti-hero and most of the book I kept wishing Dorian would either get it together orput an end to his misery. Many parts of the plots seemed only to imply actions instead of describing them in detail. I do like some detail and there was just a lot of vagueness.
