What Members Thought
I enjoyed reading this book. As usual, Sparks succeeded in making me curious to find out what happened in the past that is influencing the present. It was great for reading on the beach -- easy, engaging. He did bring a lump to my throat on the last page, so that says a lot! I didn't feel, though, that the author was as emotionally invested in this story as some of his others, and that's why it got four stars from me instead of five. I love this book just like I love all the other books I have read by Nicholas Sparks. a total page Turner I was unable to put it down.
