Devastatingly well-written. Impeccably mind-blowing. Definitely the novel on war that ends all novels on war.
A side-note: A bit boring and confusing at first, but the prose is brilliant indeed.

I’m going to have to fess up that I’m leaving this one unfinished after 275 pages. There have been parts I have enjoyed immensely and have even laughed at a lot of the writing but I don’t feel I am doing this book justice by reading the first part of the chapter and skipping to the next it it doesn’t keep my attention.
