A brilliant book that I read several years ago and from which I have still not fully recovered. I literally sought out people who had read the book after I finished it to help me like a support network, because the interpretation of the book and its themes was so disturbing and yet so necessary. In the end, I have come to view it as a fable told to mask a different type of atrocity, the way abuse victims sometimes do. Your interpretation may be quite different. Shelves: fiction, marine

The life of Pi was an interesting one. The story was divided into three main parts something like and introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction was a little long winded and I found myself hoping that it was going to get better although the story about the three men of three religons was quite entertaining.

A novel which shows that even during times of hardship, there is still some hope. A story of a boy who became stranded at sea alone with a tiger, and how they struggled to stay alive.

A little bit about the house and zoo. Hi Tschai, Yes this book is a very easy read. It does a bit of religious and spiritual belief and explorations. I might enjoy it. :)
