Seems like so many the books with cheating/lying wife and abusive/manipulative husband are bitten to death and thrown into endless pit called "The Girl on the Train" read alike/look alike books. Even books written before 2014 retroactively quality for the pit.

Love a book with a twist. Though, I must say the end of the book was not completely a surprise as the author had left some hints throughout the entire novel.
The repetition of things, and events was a bit of a bore, but then, such things are expected in a story of this nature! And despite my being bored at some point, the book itself was something I couldn't put down as I really wanted to see the final piece of this jigsaw falling into place!

I loved Watson's "Second Life" psychological thriller I read last summer so I wanted to read this, his first novel. It was pretty good, moved along slowly at first and then suspense built up towards the end. Second Life was definitely the better of the two, but this was good too!
