What Members Thought
I've read this a couple of times and really can't get into it. The characters are vapid and unlikeable and the symbolism and flowery writing was too much for me. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what was so dang special about Daisy. Why pine over such an unremarkable person for so long? The best part of this book was that is short. Perhaps this would have been better as a short story than a novel? Maybe the movie will be good?
