Well that was interesting. And entertaining also. It read a LOT like his novel "Dark Matter", and there are a lot of similarities between the two, but this book stands on its own. Interesting concept, and a storyline that moved along nicely (for the most part). I did think he re-hashed the timelines near the end of the novel a couple of times too many. A few of those chapters could be parsed out and not affect the overall story IMO. Still, a good read.

2.5 stars, really. Fun, quick read but really confusing and frustrating at the end.
It felt like 200 pages were just a convoluted mess and every issue was 'resolved' the moment someone brought up what someone else had said earlier in the book. If the characters had just followed a thread that clearly lead somewhere instead of wasting time and pages trying to do whatever they were supposedly doing/working on (because, if they characters were actually trying to do anything at all, it was barely ex ...more
