This is a strong, sweet and sexy romance. It took a little bit to get off the ground and pull me in, but once it did, I was hooked.

Though Chloe ticks several boxes in terms of representation—she’s Black, suffers from chronic pain, and a bit of a nerd—she doesn’t function just as an empty token, a fate that other characters left in the hands of less-skilled authors just looking to get diversity points could suffer. Timing!

For years I have seen this book being popular, added it to my tbr shelf and I just would not read it. Why? Timing!

I started with Dani, then ignored Chloe. Why? Timing.

And today I can honestly say that NOW was the right time for me to read this book. Growth is about timing. You cannot force maturity into a person ( yes, Eve is next 😀) but you also can’t force Life into a person. I had to live it to relate. Timing!
