Time to be honest- I messed up with this series and read this book before Every Which Way, but it was a great mistake! I really love the main characters in this book and didn't have to deal with negative feelings from EWW.

3.5 stars!!!! I love to watch new authors as they develop their story telling skills. I can see so much growth in Calia Read' s technique and I could feel a much improved flow to this book. BRAVO!
If I had another son I would totally name him Macsen. The love scenes in this book were so intense. I could feel the emotion of the characters with all the angst, which is my favorite part, and I was truly in their world. ...more

I was a little nervous starting this book. Emilia was a little sketchy to me in the first book, Every Which Way, and I was afraid of what she was going to do to Macsen. In EWW Macsen is a bit of a jerk. I didn't agree with his actions, but I felt that there was definitely more to him than he was revealing to us. In Breaking The Wrong we find out a lot more about Macsen and what made him the person he is. After finding out Emilia's backstory I understood her better and she no longer made me nervo
