Romances are not my thing. That being said, I enjoy Randall's ability to take the romance genre and spin it like a top. I adore her cajones for the love triangle with a capital 'L'. Adrian Turner was my favorite character from Ten Days, and I was thrilled to see him playa major role in this book.
I appreciate the lack of cookie cutter plot devices and that she wasn't afraid to violently screw with her characters. it is rare for me to read a romance start to finish, let alone give it more than thr ...more

I couldn't wait to dive into Reckless Abandon (RA) after the ending of 10 days. So I jumped on that "stage" right away!!
We're left off in 10 days after Ember finds out that Bowan failed to inform her that he was aware who she was (from the fight he got into at the car shop). RA picks up at this point and provides us with both POVs throughout the book.
The push and pull between Ember and Bowan is tense. The ...more

I knew it. I have to say that I threw the book across the room. I wasn't sure why we had to endure graphic detail about Adrian and Ember sex. But I get it, this was sex not the soul searching love making she had with Bo. But I was still really pissed. But then I realized that of course she has to fight her love for Bo, she fights against everything that's good for her in her life. I loved that her body was rejecting Adrian before her mind caught up. I love the connection through music. I wishe ...more

Reckless Abandon is a nice continuation of theNovember Blue series. Bo is still (swoon) so loveable. November got on my nerves at times. Love Monica, Josh Reagan and C.J. Andrea Randall 's writing is lovely. There are a lot of spelling errors and editing problems and usually I get over this but it really bothered me this time. I would still recommend this book to anyone who read book 1. ...more

To me, a good book is one that you never want to end. I read the last chapters of Reckless Abandon so slowly because I couldn't imagine being done with it. This book was the perfect continuation of Ember and Bo's story and it ripped my heart out, before putting it back together.

I really didn't want to end, and now I want to know more about 'forever'. These two books were a great read!
